My contractor’s plumber made a mistake while installing shower valve- didn’t turn off water and all the units in my condo‘s riser ended up with no hot water. Property management had to call in their emergency plumbers. The bill is over $600.

I’ve sent this invoice to the contractor twice, who continues to say he’ll pass it on. It’s been over a few weeks and no payment received or any word from his plumber. Contractor job is done. What should I do? Is there a possibility he can skip on this bill and it falls on me? That seems really ridiculous since the reason why he was hired was because he’s licensed and insured. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!
