Paint Buying and Selling Homes Design Dilemma

When I moved into this condo, there was some paint in the closet which I used to covers some patches. Right colour, wrong texture. At some point, a texture was used on the walls. They feel smooth, but any drywall patch is obvious. How can I cover the walls seamlessly? Think less texture, not more.

Sand down the patch and buy a can of orange peel texture at HD or Lowes, then repaint.

Do you own or rent?. If you own smooth out or remove and replace that patch. There are several products that you can use to smooth that wall but you should talk to your local hardware store because you may need to lightly sand the surface before applying them.

If you rent find a decor items that will allow access to that outlet but hide the damage.
