I did the 'Photoshop" in excel. No need for expensive or complicated programs.

Insert Shape - choose the one that allows you to define all the lines - Use the snip program that comes with WIndows and capture the pattern of the shower curtain. Fill the shape from your clipboard (Shower Curtain pattern.)

Thanks tedbixby - I like the colour and pattern on the chevron curtain. Because I am in Canada, I need to purchase from the Wayfair.Ca site, as opposed to the .com site - more than triple the price. I’m going to need to be darn sure it will look fabulous before spending over a $100 on a shower curtain!😉

We have a ‘non-essential’ travel ban in place at the moment. I am not able to go to the larger towns and cities to look for accessories right now. Hopefully soon though!🤞😊

I tried the neutral shower curtain - refer to the photo of the button one) and just wasn’t loving the look.
Standing in the doorway, the shower curtain feels to me like the focal point - so I feel like it needs to read like a wonderful piece of artwork.
With limited ability to travel outside my zone, I am left with scouring the web for something that goes well with the colours in the border tile. Any ideas?😊

I'm liking the chevron, if you've given up on the button curtain. It picks up the angles in the border nicely. And the more I look at all your pictures, the more I think that brown vase needs a new home. It just brings too much more brown above the granite- you have plenty in the vanity.

I think new vanity hardware, something different on the counter.... Did you decide against a rug?

That picture was taken before the walls were painted white - I did post a new one yesterday. I think the chevrons are becoming a favourite - and I can get it in Canadian dollars, which is a big bonus!

I have no problem replacing the brown vase - it is just saving the spot for something awesome!

I have a Home Depot near me - is there some vanity hardware on their site you think might work?

I am not going to do a rug. I’m hoping to get enough interest and awesomeness from the other bits!

Maybe someone can photoshop the newer selection into your room with the lighter walls. Maybe a faux tall orchid plant in a brush brass vase will be something to consider for your countertop.

I don't have the knack that Jennifer does to get the curtain behind your counter, but at least here it is in the right paint version!

The floor color is what's throwing you off. If you use a contrasting dark brown on the walls that complements your vanity, you can finish with an eye popping, elegant, multi-color shower curtain with strong colors of cream and dark browns and the blue grays from your tiles

I would probably paint the wall above the tile and above the tub alcove a reddish brown the same color as the vanity and leave the vanity wall as is to start. The shower curtain shown by LD is really sharp!

Janet, there are SO many pretty knobs: if it were me, I'd bring home some samples and see how I felt about satin nickel with a texture, maybe a clear acrylic knob with a metallic base, or even a dual metal nickel/champagne to go with towel bars plus the gold in the granite. Just something with a little bling that will contrast, rather than blend, with the cabinet doors. But knobs should probably come last, because whatever accessories you choose for the vanity might inform that decision.

I suggest that we look and see if we can improve on the chevron. Nothing is wrong with it but just want to make sure you are in love with whatever you decide on and I don't think the Chevron is speaking to you -yet. More exploring needed :)

You could also change your shower curtain with the seasons...or your mood, after you find a color scheme that works for you. I have one for Fall, Christmas/Winter, and Spring/Summer so far. Another thought is a deeper version of your floor color above your tiles instead of the lighter version. Still leaving the vanity wall color as is.

@Kit Kat - I never thought it would be so difficult to find a shower curtain!! I am keeping the button one, just in case I paint the walls darker at some later point. I like the design, I'm just not in love with the plain color against the walls.

At this moment, I am keeping the walls light and looking for the elusive shower curtain that has some sort of an abstract pattern, with the colors of the border tile.

On another note - I finally figured out how to tag commenters in my replies!! Woohoo! It doesn't work on my phone, which is usually what I'm answering from - but it does work easy peasy if I answer from my chromebook!!

Can someone put the gold color that KB? liked on the walls of the photo with the different shower curtains? I'd love to see what the cinnamon color looks like on just the left and end walls too, leaving the beautiful new creamy color on the vanity wall. The idea of the 'button curtain', contrasted with dark cinnamon on 2 walls and the creamy white on the other sounds delicious.

I'm wondering how Etsy is for shipping to Canada? If it favorable, then you may want to peruse around that site and see if anything clicks.

For paint color in your bath I recommend using SW Virtual taupe or BM Willow these color can tie in very well with your accent tile.

This one is BM Marshlands which has an olive green grayish brown tone that picks up the tones in the tiles.

So, I been scouring web sites for shower curtains, and have not found anything that tops the blue chevron one suggested by @tedbixby1981. I have ordered that today, and it will be here about March 3rd.

I'll post a photo once it is hung - stay tuned!

We'll keep our fingers crossed that this will be the "one" otherwise you may find yourself rethinking the color of the walls:)

I am using an existing navy blue towel, but will replace with a darker indigo blue when I can travel further afield.

I also shopped my house, and came up with this vase to replace the brown one.

The pink bit you see is my reflection - the vase is a wonderful rich indigo blue, with a bit of copper glaze at the top. It is made by a local potter here in my town.

I like both the curtain and your vase. The navy towel looks great, too. The interesting thing the counter becomes neutral rather than being bossy. Are you happy with the curtain?

This bathroom seems to be in excellent condition. Don’t change anything that doesn’t need to be changed....maybe just the shower curtain. If you need better lighting, that would be an easy change, too.
