I usually start with the bedding so maybe now go get that before any other choices are made. Is there something specail about the rug that you started there? IMO it will now drive the bedding choice . The lighting in the center is awful so think about what your style is . I find the dressers really don’t work well with the bed I think they are just too traditional and too matchy . The bed says simple elegance to me so that is the direction I would go.What color are the walls and did you just paint them? I think a bit more info would be good. Is the bed gray?This is one of my fave gray bedroos it might give you some inspiration. See the size of the lamps and also the ceiling light .

You can continue with the grey concept as Patricia suggested, or use the duvet as a jumping off point for color. What do you like with grey? Pink? Yellow? Blues? The options are endless so your color preferences can move the whole look at this point.

Walls are Sherwin-Williams Pediment, and we finished painting it a couple of months ago. The bed is a tan color. We selected this rug because it is predominately gray (the overriding color scheme we are aiming for) but also has some beige in it. We really like the rug so are planning on keeping it. We are not planning to replace the dresser. The light definitely has to go.

What colors do you love? What emotions do you want to evoke in your bedroom. Some people go for relaxing, personally I've always liked my bedroom to evoke feelings of romance or lust.

More romantic, soft pinks and creams when I was younger. Deeper, sexier colors as I matured. I read a study that showed that couples with purple bedrooms had more sex than any other color - At 59, I am painting my bedroom purple. (I am painting it purple, but really because I love purple - not because of the study.).
