This headboard was sold a few days ago. I did this using a very old, late 19th century headboard. I used a few coats of Annie Sloan Duck Egg, slight distressing, sanding, white, clear, and dark wax applied to seal the paint and add dimension and color. I do have one other headboard that is similar.
