Jinx, You are so kind! This new house is taking longer than usual to decorate. We've had a couple of hurricanes one week after we moved in and we're in the middle of a pandemic. Challenging times for sure! Jinks, I love your little clock! When we moved out of the big house I gave away so much. Now I wish I would have kept some pieces for things like this shelving project.

You have some great ideas! Yes, I want some decor items for the shelving. I hadn't thought of Etsy for vintage/old/new items. I'm so used to going to antique stores to take a look. That's out for now.

I saved the atticmag link. So beautiful! I like to do laundry in a pretty space because, well, laundry is not fun to do. May as well look at pretties while I'm doing chores.

This afternoon I'll rummage through some items that I have and try some things out for the shelving. I'll take a few pictures and post to get some honest feedback.

We downsized, too, a few years ago ... I so understand wishing for things I got rid of. It’s so stressful and exhausting moving anyway, but especially when you just can’t take everything.

Can’t wait to see what you add! I totally agree with wanting pretty things to look at while doing my least favorite chore (laundry). :)
