I wouldn't use the cellular type in the shower room. I think they would hold dampness because of all the channels and crevices and get funky. I'd go with the faux wood Beverly recommends or use something that you can wash.

I think they should match or be very complementary. I would either do a top down/bottom up treatment or a true plantation shutter that allows closure of bottom slats, as both will allow you to balance privacy and light.

Since anyone using the toilet has no sink, provide Clorox hand wipes for them to use before touching the door knob/handle to exiting the potty-nook.

Again with this ^. Do you really think that anyone is actually going to use a wipe before opening the door? Esp kids. I wonder how many people in the world have succumbed to illness caused by opening a WC door. I really dislike separate toilet rooms, but this is not the reason why. :D

It's an extra touch providing for those in need - women might understand more so. Not that anyone is necessarily in the sink room, but it's a nice idea, felizlady. :)
