Hi: The garage door is a Clopay Dark Oak Ultragrain. The siding is Boral from a company called Carolina Colortones. Unfortunately the original finish on it was uneven, it was a lighter wood color and looked striped. So we experimented with various stains on top of the original stain they applied. We ended up using Olympic Elite Royal Mahogany. I would test it on the wood you intend to use. Since we put stain on top of stain that no doubt effected the color, and the material is a fiber cement, not wood, so it didn't absorb the stain, we had to coat it several times.
