we are building a house and would really love to put an interior/exterior see thru fireplace that can be enjoyed both in our living room and outside in our courtyard. Unfortunately we've heard these types of fireplaces are more trouble than they are worth. Especially in a climate that is very hot in the summer and snow filled in the winter. Any advice or experience you may have?
