Induction Cooktop Outdoor Kitchen

Does anyone have any experience with an outdoor induction burner for their outdoor kitchen? The outdoor kitchen will be covered on top but will have some moisture from the sides. I like to cook stinky items outdoors, and feel that induction will be better since I don't have to be concerned about the flame blowing out due to the wind. Our house is currently almost done being framed, so I would assume that this would be a simple matter of installing an outlet, but was concerned about the longevity of the induction cooktop since I live in the Pacific NW, and it gets pretty wet here 9 months out of the year. As a trial, I've tried this with a cheap $70 Duxtop induction cooktop in an apartment balcony that gets pretty wet, and the cooktop gives an error message when it got exposed to the rain. Thanks in advance for anyone who has tried this before.
