I try never to buy rugs online, especially ones in a large size. You can't really return them as the shipping charges are outrageous. If going the online route, I'd order the smallest size to try first.

My budget - I would like to spend no more than 1K. I have a little cat that I worry about so it also cannot be a closed loop style. He could really wreck one of those.

Yes, I thought of that about having to return a large rug. You never can tell if the rug will go until you actually see it. This is hard.

Polypropylene is fine.

Don’t order from over stock for big rugs..you have to set up the return and pay for it....real pain!

Amazon is the best..just check return policy first but have had great luck...

Here you go..it is off white..all shades of grey with black.

Unfortunately, that one won’t work with the other colors in my LR. Still looking for something with blue in it.

Renner65...your sofas look more modern clean straight arms...but you coffee table is traditional....so are you wanting more traditional style rug or more modern transitional?

I’m moving away from traditional toward a more modern look but I’m pretty eclectic with my tastes. I like a little of everything which makes it difficult for my house not to look early garage sale. I’d love a home that is cohesive and beautiful but I don’t know how to do that.

Renner - that rug is very pretty, but sadly it is 70% viscose, a material to be avoided! You cannot clean it. It is a manmade fiber intended to feel like silk. It is beautiful, until you get one spot or wear area. It is OK if only a small percentage of the overall and the other material is predominant. Just wanted to let you know to watch the "material" of rugs.

The sofas are more a warm grey with some beige and cream. The paint on the walls is SW Agreeable Grey and the floors are grey tiles that mimic wood. I only have a couple of things on the walls as far as art goes. I’m still working on that too. You can see the grey and white wicker one in the photo above and the other piece of artwork is very large. I’ve included a portion of it here to show the colors.

I ordered 3 samples. This one came today.

It’s Loloi Teagan Oatmeal/ivory. I guess I didn’t check what it was make of.

I have not double checked any of these rugs for their material or precise measurements. I think all are in your price range. Sorry if I am repeating rugs already rejected by you

I don’t know which 3 you liked but just want to make sure you know that at lesst some of them are available in sizes other than the picture, inluding your size — unless you need 10x14 preciselY. For instance, the first rug, Dalyn Antigua, is available in 9’6”x13’x2”, for $849

Home Interiors: Frankly, I’m not sure what I want and that’s the problem. I guess I want what ever makes the space come together and look more cohesive and I don’t have the confidence to do that on my own. I had ordered a sample with blue in it but it wasn’t right. This is just another I ordered. I guess going with the grey/off-white makes me feel freer to change the accent colors in my room whenever I want. I love the rugs you just posted. Where did you find them? That last one looks really nice.,

I think the photos don’t show the true colors either.

I love neutral rugs and agree it does not lock you in to one accent color...aI love textured it would add a great layer to your space.

Here you go..it has a neutral modern design and the tight weave between the pattern has a tiny bit of blue in it I think a very nice compromise without going all out blue..

Well, it’s pretty but not sure it’s beg enough. I will measure again and see. I would like my furniture to fit all legs on the rug. I think your idea of texture is a good one and I like the look of these type of rugs. So, I guess you don’t like the rug sample I have? Easy to send back tho.

Well the rug sample is so generic....I know you can find better🤷🏼‍♀️
