Below is a picture of one of the walls in my family room. I would like to paint the brick but feel limited by the fireplace. The rest of the room will be painted in Sherwin Williams burlap or townhall tan (still to decide). Would it be ok to paint the brick black. I feel as if brick painted black shouts 'painted brick!' Please help.
