I love aqua but that is rather bright isn’t it? It is usual to paint a room to match the furniture and other items in it. Have you chosen curtains and bedding or will it be strictly an office? What colour will the desk be?

The desk will most likely be white based on ones I’ve seen online. The sofa bed will be similar to the attached photo in either dark blue or a dark forest green

Its a beautiful colour used in flashes with other colours that are muted in my opinion. Paired with bright white it looked positively arctic to me.

It’s the wrong wall, as the room is relatively narrow it accentuates the length. Do you have to have a feature wall? You could use the green all over. Or alternatively if you paint the two short end walls in the green and keep the others very light it should make the room feel wider. That could work well if you’re having a white desk against the short wall too

Thanks minnie. I agree it’s the wrong wall, Iike the idea of painting the two short ends in a green (which is much more subtle and calming).
We definitely don’t need a feature wall. As this room isn’t huge I don’t mind repainting the entire thing but I thought an entirely green room might be a bit much?

I don’t think so, I tried painting it for you but unfortunately the Aqua is too strong to paint over. Why not start with the end walls and see what you think? A shade of green sounds good for an office. I’d add some plants too maybe in some of the many woven baskets that are around atm to add more warmth and some art (of nice sunny holiday places 😂)

Here’s a couple of offices painted green. One quite bold, the other a softer sage green. I’m not sure what exact shades they are, but the paler one could be F&B Cromarty? Have a look at the F&B greens, they are lovely.

You should go with this wall pain with dark yellow duvet cover and rug as u like or use yellow and grey color mix texure wall paper

With that colour sofa a dirty beige pink would also look nice and be very calming.

I agree with @colourhappy a dirty beige pink or how about a darker colour like @Kenie Patel suggested but with textures like the attached pic?

Ooh I love that but I’m not sure my partner would be happy with the extra work haha I’m planning on adding panelling to the guest bedroom so may have to pick my battles 😂
