Gray owl is a very pleasant color and everybody seems to like it. I have painted my own master bedroom in Gray owl!

Algaze Interiors: can you tell me if Grey Owl has a greenish undertone to it? We’re going to completely redo our kitchen, and I’m looking for a color to go with BM Kid Gloves….our coffers, which are adjacent to the kitchen, are painted that color. We like the color, but I want the cabinets to be lighter than that. We’re doing most of them in a soft white (color tbd), probably Taj Mahal counters (perimeter), and lots of wood mixed in (walnut island top, some shelves etc). Any ideas?

Gray owl does have some green undertones to it, yes! But always get one of Benjamin Moore’s small paint samples and paint a sample of it on the wall next to your other colors first make sure you look at it in the evening in the morning and that you love the color, it’s a beautiful color people really like gray owl paint!

My fee for selecting paint colors are $295 for up to three colors. Four colors, It goes to $350 etc. It can take hours to find the right paint color and usually does! Paint colors are very subjective and everybody is different. I’m happy to help because it appears you’re not going to get an answer here. I am a color expert and yes, the Grey Owl was a little bit lighter than that color no doubt about it! But one of my favorite grey tones ( with some green) so I threw it out there! I have recently moved and therefore I’m willing to work on small projects currently. Working on getting my new website set up in Orange County, Ca! All the best of luck to you!
