Replacing Backsplash..and suggestions?

New house, beautiful vaulted wood ceiling; black honed granite on island will remain as will warm toned granite on countertop but backsplash reads like a black hole! Neutral travertine floors..lots of options..would sure appreciate your creative ideas! Thank you so much!
