Should I remove the tiles because of cracking?

I am renovating a heritage house and considering whether remove the asbestos tiles or keep it as it is. I want to keep it but I am afraid of the potential damage because of the cracking of the tiles as shown in the picture. Any professional suggestions? Thanks.

I'd find a way to fake it before residing the house.

It can be faked and do residing but we don't want to do the complete new siding considering the cost of disposal asbestos and wood siding cost. Because we are not sure the condition of the original wood siding underneath the tiles. It's easy to just paint it but we don't know whether the potential damage worth to do the complete residing.
