We have built a modern timber home and have used natural rustic white oak throughout our cabinetry. I am looking for some ideas to finish off our wall behind the cabinetry in our basement bar area. I brought home several black variations of big and small subway tiles and it just doesn't go. I like texture and ok with large format as well. I want to bring in modern as I have enough rustic. Floors are concrete stained a medium grey/brown. The counters are a leathered stone which isn't true black so manufactured tiles in black overpowered the countertops. Open to ideas..
