drip irrigation systems

I am finally planning on getting a drip system this year. I need to irrigate 3 raised beds, 4 x 32 each. I use them for a wide variety of different vegetables. One tap is available about 25 feet away. What does your experience tell you about things I should think of and things I should avoid?
