The face of your washer is probably 30” from the wall so 24” isn’t that extreme. We used 15” deep and that worked out pretty well (ikea)

IMO 15” is perfect a 24” deep unless you are realy tall you will never be able to reach the back.

Thanks. That is correct. They extend 30 inches from the wall. So 24 inches won’t seem to overwhelm the space? We thought about 18 inches, but then that’s custom and I think starts to cost more. 🤷‍♀️

I have 12” cabinets in a room very similar to yours. Useless - 3 of 4 cabinets are unreachable. Since you want to avoid custom $$$, how about going for the 24”, knowing that you may not be able to reach it all easily. But at least it’s not custom price and perhaps you’d actually use some of that deepness for long term storage. I don’t think it’d overwhelm the space too much. You don’t spend as much time in a laundry room as you would your kitchen, so even if it’s a bit much, at least you have functional space.
