I got new carpet in my bedroom in November. In my mind it was a taupe or greige, in my poorly lit bedroom it’s definitely grey.

Now I really need to paint the walls. They are a very yellow beige. They’ve been this color since I moved in.

I want to brighten the room, but maintain warmth. I guess I can do that through furniture and accessories.

My tentative plan:
Walls
SW Alabaster eggshell

Trim
SW Pure White semi gloss

Ceiling
SW pure white flat

Clearly, I’m not great at picking color based on the carpet I chose. 😬
