Can you post a photo of your cabinet style, white color sample, mid-grey color sample, floor sample, etc? I'd hate to steer you wrong by choosing a tile without seeing all the information in front of me.

I don’t care for either, as they will darken the kitchen and could overwhelm and become the main feature. I’d look for something lighter that pulls in the grey island and is more classic for longevity.

Honestly, I would not go with either tile option. Your material choices are cool tone but the brown tile is warm. The other tile option feels too busy.
