Demo Day is here and guess what I forgot?

Yesterday was finally demo day for our bathroom projects. For months I've been meticulously selecting my fixtures, tiles and paint. We are doing a gut remodel of our

master bath and our half bath/laundry room. They started demo yesterday on the half bath/laundry when I suddenly realized I NEVER TOOK MY "BEFORE" PICTURE!!!!!! Seriously, how did I forget to do that? Oh well. I guess all that matters is the "AFTER". Today is demo on the master bath. So I was able to grab pictures of that.

I'm really excited. It's fun to watch it all come together. My contractor uses an app that shows me the work plan each day for the next 2 weeks.

Here are my post demo "this will have to suffice as my before" pictures. (Gotta love the wallpaper sample hidden beneath the drywall. 1973 was a special era for decor.)

Before pictures are an easy thing to forget when you are focused on making decision, LOL! Good luck with your remodel and do post after photos for us.

You might be able to find before pics if your house was listed on line when you bought it. The realtor would have taken a bunch of pictures of your place before you moved in.

@Lori Butler we moved in 20 years ago - you can say this renovation is long overdue. I did check our last appraisal from a refinance in November. The appraiser took pictures of every single room in the house..... except this one! We do have the picture from 20 years ago and that would certainly be a statement. It improved greatly since then but really needed a gut remodel. Lesson learned. This is phase 1 of our remodel. I will make sure I get all my pictures in phase 2!!!
