Why do you need a magnetized closure? A well fitting door should have no problem in closing, completely. Have you looked at Rocky Mountain Hardware?

She is saying they want a pull handle and deadbolt with no latch. So she is looking for something to hold the door closed when it is shut.

Your welcome and honestly I am assuming from her description and the picture of the door showing only a deadbolt. With that type setup nothing will hold it securely, anything or anyone pushing on the door and it will open as pictured. That's more of a commercial type of setup.

You either use a pair of roller latches or a pair of magnetic latches in addition to the deadbolt. I am planning on a door with a 5 foot pull handle but I can't decide which type of latches would be best. A friend has the roller latches and is not happy with them because when it is super windy (which happens often where we live) the door blows open. I have an outswing door so I wouldn't have that particular problem. Doesn't help my delemma though.

I know this is an old discussion but we are having the same dilemma in our new build. Krystal Sanchez, what did you end up doing for your front door? We absolutely love the look of the long handle and are doing black with horizontal wood grain. But we don't want to have to always set the dead bolt to have the door be closed!
