Floor plan tweaks

I am interested in getting more valuable feedback on our house plan. I've posted before and was grateful for the many valuable suggestions. We're close to finalizing, though we do have a couple minor adjustments. The stove-sink may be adjusted so they are spread further apart, not as close back to back. Yes, I am ok with the dining room being the distance it is from the kitchen. Upstairs we need to adjust bath #4, possibly shifting the toilet forward about 1 foot and making the linen closet in bath #3, 1 foot deeper. Thank you in advance for the help!

I like the walk-in pantry very much; it's convenient to the garage entry when bringing in groceries. The whole laundry area set-up with the extra fridge/freezer, counter, and broom closet is dreamy.

In the kitchen, is the single bowl sink in the corner for kashering?

I couldn't see the dimensions for your front porch -- if it's less than 8' deep, it'll be useless for comfortable seating.

Will having the master fireplace off-center play hell with using it/furniture arranging?

The sink/fridge in the upstairs hallway is too far away from the gameroom. The area where it's at is where I normally see a built in study area for kids. If there's a way to move the sink, etc., into the gameroom space, it would make more sense.

It looks like a nice roomy family home.

thank you jewelisfabulous. the single bowl sink near fridge is for wet bar area, for drink making. Yes, the front porch is 8' deep, so hopefully feasible for small chairs. Our main area out back will be the focused seating as we are lakefront. Good catch on the master fireplace. We will look at centering it better, we thought it was. I don't think we will have room to move the upstairs sink/fridge into the game room as it is actually going to be more of a audio/visual room and my husband has it all spaced out for his "stuff", but I get your point. Thank you!!

Very long walk from master bedroom closet to laundry

thanks cpartist! All valid points. I'm discovering a bit of give and take as nothing is perfect.

I am planning on only using 1 side for hanging clothes and the other for shallow shelves in the 6' wide area.

Yes, the bed 2 closet is small as well but it is intended as an work room with the closet holding a printer and other items on shelves so not really concerned there. Which is also a room facing the lake so, I'm looking forward to my desk facing out to see the views.

Thanks, we are considering adding windows to bedroom 4 and possibly 2 on the empty exterior walls. Though with bed 2 having 3 windows we thought it would be ample. Still contemplating. Bed 4 will probably be up high transom type so it doesn't impede furniture placement as we are considering putting a reach in closet where the closet is but opening to the bedroom.

The wasted space by the stairs is a bit of luxury we decided on to have an open visually appealing staircase.

What do you put at the end of a hallway? but a window if its an exterior wall. Not sure on the downside to that.

I don't think your 4x4 closet in bedroom 4 offers you more storage than a 2x4 reach-in closet. If anything, a reach-in you allows you to move more freely when you want to get things out.

By making that closet a reach-in, I think you have enough room to move the linen beside the shower and put a toilet below the window. In the adjacent bathroom, you could move the linen behind the door if you are ok with its location and have a larger vanity.

I think we came up with a solution! The closet was actually 4'4'' wide and we're now adding 4" more. Thank you!!
