Sherry, I like Red Suspenders, and I got Reindeer Antlers last year due to your pictures of it I believe. It did well for a 1st year plant, and I love the color.

Kay, I like your Rose F. Kennedy, surely mine will bloom this year. I don't know why it did not last year, it looked so healthy.

It has never wowed me like some, but this year we had a brief cool down and I saw it in cooler weather then our usual high 90's. A prettier color in my eyes. Sherry, Ruby Spider is wonderful. It grows here too and you can't beat it for big bold flowers.

I also like Rapid Eye Movement and Reindeer Antlers. Reindeer Antlers was planted in the fall of 2019 so it didn't do much last season. I can't wait to see it this year.

Raggedy Man is one of our top performers. It's a late bloomer that has lots of scapes and flowers and sets seeds like crazy. Plus it is orange and has teeth. What more could you want!

Ramming Speed is one I thought we should get rid of, but then I noticed the broken color on the flower. I need to observe it to see if it does that often. If it does, I will keep it to cross with Explosion in the Paint Factory.

Randall the Runner is not hardy in our garden so it overwinters in the greenhouse.

It is normal for Raspberry Tears to have a seersucker effect on the petals.

I love Red Eyed Queen. It's big and flat with an eye and edge and some teeth. It does well in our garden.

We picked up Red Lobster cheap at Jamie Gossard's place in 2019. It survived its first winter so we'll see what it does this year.

Renaissance Revival was selected because it has a partial picotee edge on the sepals. Many of Salter's eyed daylilies do. That is a characteristic we want to work with.

Riot Act has interesting color.

Odd, Sherry My red Eyed Fantsy didn't bloom last year either. Maryl, Rose Masterpiece is a really pretty one. Nancy, I see why you like REd Eyed Queen; It is really pretty. Nancy, Rushing Delight is an awfully pretty delicate bloom.and Reindeer Antlers is a nice red.

Road to Dixie is cute but doesn't like our climate much.

Rocky Mountain Sunrise has a nice flower, but the scape it barely above the foliage.

Rocky Top is a bright flower in the landscape.

Roi de Navare is one we got from Daniel Matton in Canada. I really like the colors on it.

The color and edge on Rosie Cotton's Ribbons were wonderful last season. The flowers were larger too.

The color is off on this picture of Rosie with a Ring. The petal color is not that white in person, but it does have a wonderful eye and nice edge. This one was new last season and I look forward to breeding with it this season.

Rossen's Best Edge is a southern that overwinters in the greenhouse. It has the most extreme edge of any we grow.

Royal Extravaganza is doing well here.

Ruby Grandeur is probably my favorite red. I prefer a red on the rosy instead of orange side.

Ruffles Have Ripples has never done that well for us. It's one of the few patterned ones we grow.

Red Grace: A great older red from John Benz. It was moved last year to an area of the garden that is not the greatest, as it was in a prime location where I wanted a newer plant to go.

REINDEER ANTLERS: Thakns to all of the enablers on this list (and they know who they are), I had to get this one. It is one of the best reds in the garden.

RING THE BELLS OF HEAVEN: Scapes are much taller than registered. It can be splotchy at times.

Well I am glad you persevered, Laura. I like Reafy Freddy and can surely see why you take lots of photos of Regina Sitko. I love Rich Girls and Rich in Mercy is a true beauty. Like Ruby storm for that eye.

Roses for Dallas --not registered height, but hasn't been beneath foliage here. Growth habit is like Carolina Cool Down, but a bit shorter.

Ring the Bells of Heaven --when it is good, it is very good, but can be quite splotchy.

Royal Girls --strong and pure color. This picture after some sun.

Rogue Wave --not as tall as registered

Regina Sitko --big and showy, but doesn't like afternoon sun. The spent blooms are like a glob of wet kleenex.

Rogue Primate --satiny red out of Arrogant Bastard

Every time I see RAINBOW MAKER, I want it. I will have to rectify that this year.

Thanks for post ROYAL PINK TWIST. I know that Bud Bennett used that one in his hybridizing efforts. He certainly had an eye for pink diploids to use in his hybridizing. It is a gorgeous looking pink.

Debra, Rich In Mercy is one I've had for a while and is a late bloomer for me. I see it's listed as a rebloomer, but I don't think it's rebloomed in my garden. It is a gorgeous bloom. I have not paid attention to the bud count or branching on it. I have set seeds on it successfully each year, but have not used the pollen. I wish I had more time to hybridize, but my job gets in the way :) Here are a few more pics of it
