I like the wood; it feels more cohesive and like one room. If the white belongs to a different room, though, then it's a nice delineation to have the corresponding but separate cabinetry.

The mixed photo makes it appear like you had a tiny kitchen and then added on all white cabinets. But the all wood is a heavy block of stained cabinets. I would look at breaking the cabinets up in some other configuration - maybe white uppers including the refrigerator surround, with stained lowers including the island, and then add glass doors to the upper section of the cabinets on the right.

It is a small kitchen, the area next to it is a transition space from the entry it serves as a mudroom and storage/pantry area and across is a small sitting area with bench and table
