Renewal by Andersen is notorious for the high pressure discount now sales pitch. That being said they are definitely overpriced for a mediocre product, so definitely high.

Sounds like you got their sale price.

Typical prices. These are normal prices for a niche window market, similar to Marvin’s Infinity line and when buying. Direct from Pella. Look at Anderson’s other lines such as the A and E series Woodwrights and 400’s .With Marvin look at there Ultimate , Elevate and perhaps Essential lines. What you want is a reputable company that is specialized in windows that is not franchised subsidiary company. Typically there is not a standard size and everything is built to order When doing remodeling work.

I’m not a pro but I just bought 32 new construction windows for a whole house remodel. I went with Marvin Elevate series white interior and exterior. About half of the windows have grids on the upper sash and they’re a mix of casement, double hung, and picture with brushed nickel for the hardware. The Marvins were just under $18,000 total. I also got a quote for Andersen A series which was about $23,000. I actually like the look of the Marvins better so the choice was easy with the cost savings.

This is just the cost of the window, not including installation. That will be priced separately through my contractor I’m just a bit picky about materials and wanted to do the legwork on the actual window product myself. Hope this info helps.
