Thanks for the input. The current doors are vinyl/plastic covered particle board, so I am not sure the DIY painting will work out well; but appreciate the input.

I expect it would be most economical to do new white doors. Look for places who can give you a price to do that, also ask if they could retrofit at least one double cabinet with drawers. If you could have drawers next to the stove that would really help with storage.

I like your counters. Remove the dark valance and get some undercabinet lighting.

I could have been clearer - the vinyl/plastic covering on the existing doors is peeling in places, which is the primary "wear and tear." DIY painting over that plastic, or peeling it off and painting the underlying particle board, to me, is likely to come out poorly.

Thanks. So far, I plan to price out a set of replacement Thermofoil doors and, as an alternative, check out the possibility of stripping off the vinyl and painting the MDF. All good feedback, keep it coming, thanks!
