What is the gray countertop made of? Same as the island just different color? I have white perimeter and a dark island, my granite is the same on both though. Ive seen wood top as another counter surface, but haven’t seen 2 different color counters. Also, curious why white backsplash, usually that is where you add some interest to break everything up.

One or the other, not both. I'd prefer a different color island and the same countertops.

So the perimeter is a gray quartz, like the perimeter here, not sure if you can see it, it’s called evening gray.

Also, that picture shows the backsplash we want. So pretty much this picture by with white shaker cabinets.

Then the island...

Ok, so if we do one and not both, the options would be to extend that gray countertop to the island and make the cabinets dark shaker gray, or to keep the cabinets in the island shaker white to match, and to switch the countertop to one of these:

Personally, I don't like the speckled counters. What is the brand of quartz for the "evening gray" so we can see it close up.

I'll let others chime in as in general I am not a fan of quartz, and not a fan of speckled quartz. I will note that on my monitor, that color looks brown/taupe so I'd be careful with grays.

How about these two? Less taupe and more gray?
