I LOVE Maiden Home and the quality they offer for the price. I haven't sat on this sofa, but I have clients who are in love with "the Dune". I always like to support quality US companies. Interior Define furniture is made in China, so this is a no brainer to me.

I would say Maiden Home is better quality than Interior Define.

Thanks! MH has a shorter lead time as well since it is made here. My main concern is the comfort of the arms.. and having to guess that the cushions are as supportive as I like. I do think they have better customer service if needed than ID though.

Agree its a no brainer. Completely different quality profile between the two - made in the us, 8 way hand tied, fabric and cushion quality a different level with MH.

Yes have a few pieces from them. comfort is always so personal but we find them very comfortable even a couple years in

@Design Girl, have you ever had a client with the Jones Modular? Trying to find out how supportive it is - is it hard to get out of etc? Thanks!

@Lana Ho - I have not used the Jones. I live in a coastal area and most of my design work is coastal or transitional. I've used the Dune a lot. I'd reach out to them by phone to see if they can answer your questions. It is listed as deep and soft so those are good questions. They have a pretty good return policy if you're no happy so I'd inquire about that as well. Good luck.

We have a Jones which we love - its great looking and very comfortable, id say its supportive - definitely not a hollow bag type look like the RH cloud. hard to describe comfort but we are very pleased with the purchase

We have a jones modular and extremey happy with it. we debated between montauk sofa and RH before settling on the jones. has anyone tried the maiden home counterstools? thanks!

Anyone have feedback on Maiden Home velvets? I LOVE the Carlisle sofa style but was disappointed to receive the velvet fabric swatch -- already pilling and i can easily pull bits out of it and "scratch" it. Interior Define's velvet sample is much plusher and softer with no pilling, seems noticeably thicker and smoother than MH sample -- but I don't want to buy Interior Define for various reasons.

I purchased a sofa by ID and so far so good. AFter reading reviews I was freaked out. Got my order within 3 months, which was quick. Got the Sloan, deep seat sofa 83 inch in performance velvet. The fabric has not disappointed me and I have 2 cats. Admittedly, I do cover it when grandkids come over. They can destroy anything. Only thing not thrilled about is the seat cushions are very firm. I got the down alternative. I have a down sofa and did listen to reviews about their down falling flat. My son has down on the upper and he hasn't had that problem. I guess I need grandkids to come over and jump on it. I don't expect it to last as long as my last Stickley sofa (20 years and going strong) but it isn't the junk others say it is and price was fair considering the prices out there.

unfortunately all the reviews on ID are spot on - its low quality cheaply constructed imported furniture. our designer friend commented after seeing the swatches that the fabrics used are very cheap on a per yard basis. wish we had known earlier. a year in and the sofa looks terrible and has already been demoted to the basement!

We're debating between a maiden home varick in velvet and the rh maddox now - but leaning towards maiden home given its made in north carolina and rh is a chinese import too.

Interior Define is scam - go on instagram and read their glassdoor reviews. My order is 7 months delayed with no one able to give me any date when i might receive it (if they pick up at all). The company stopped paying their suppliers and now I cant even get my money back since my credit card co says its pats 120 days so i cant contest the charge. If you read what their employees are saying on glassdoor its appalling.

I consider myself a normal person. I run a business myself and I think online reviews are mostly garbage and for most companies are just written by people who think the squeaky wheel gets the grease. When it comes to something expensive like custom made furntiure, I think you're smart to look at negative reviews with a careful eye as very often the reviewer has too much time on their hand and is probably just trying to squeeze the company for a free sofa by harassing them as much as possible. its really an ugly habit in today's society and i dont put much stock in what some random person says online.

So with that view why am i bothering to write about Interior Define... every now and then there is a real pattern in these reviews and they can expose what is a real fraud. Interior Define is just that -its a scam. I've ordered over 6000 of furniture with them and its literaly 8 months and counting --- no furniture, they aren't responding to emails, they are now just deleting instagram posts with over 400 negative comments. they have stolen the money from me and many others. The company says its a supply chain snauf, if you read what their employees are saying on glassdoor the company is effectively bankrupt, and hasnt been paying suppliers - its cheating customers by takin orders it has no path to deliver. No one is even getting refunds and for many of us the credit card cant be contested since it was so long ago. I beg you to read reviews on trustpilot and elsewhere -- this is a huge fraud. SIMPLY DO NOT ORDER FROM INTERIOR DEFINE.

INTERIOR DEFINE IS A SCAM! Do NOT do business with Interior Define! They are a scam company. My best friend ordered a $2400 sofa last May. He has not gotten the sofa nor, beyond a 15% refund, has Interior Define refunded his money. Interior Define kept on moving the date of delivery further out than the 12 - 16 weeks promised. That's right, 4 months for the original delivery date. The know that past 6 months few if any banks would reverse the charges. This gives consumers a small window to take action and few people do it. Now, Interior Define is "supposedly" under new ownership. They "supposedly" liquidated their assets and every customer who ordered a sofa before December 2022 is screwed. There is no action to take. Still, I would take Interior Define to small claims court and raise hell with your bank or credit card company to reverse the charges. Do NOT give up the fight. INTERIOR DEFINE IS A SCAM!
