Woodworking Flooring Design Dilemma

Complimentary to dark walnut

The floors throughout our first floor are dark walnut. We love them. We are adding a wooden beam mantle, 2 open shelves in the kitchen and a farmhouse table in the kitchen. Using the same stain would be too much. We are having trouble deciding on a wood stain that would compliment the dark walnut. Anyone have any suggestions?

Any other colors in the room? How much natural light? Ceiling color Wall color? Furniture color? Pictures?

Match the mantle to the floors. Send photos and we'll take it from there. Make sure you include pics of the kitchen and the rest of your furniture.

I agree we nned more info but the mantel and the floors IMO need to match. I also need to know a bit more about yoyr style I really love walnur flooring but it does not say farmhouse to me at all so the table throws me off.
