Laundry Room Remodeling Flooring

concrete floor tile: do the designs wear out?

Hi All,

We are thinking about getting a patterned concrete floor tile in our laundry room. I have heard mixed things about if the designs on these types of tile wear out over time. Any personal experiences to share? The other option is a porcelain tile. If we go with concrete, we would go with a full body tile by a company like Cle or Concrete Collaborative.

The low end concrete tiles have issues of the design is a decal. Go with porcelain tiles. The are easier and cheaper to install and have fewer heart/head aches.

Did you know concrete tiles stain? They need sealing? They are MORE porous than marble?

Concrete is a living finish. If you aren't ready for it, you will be VERY upset when you find all of this out.
