Another staircase view

In the picture it’s not very noticeable. I’d leave it. For sure for now. If it ends up bugging you than it’s important to switch it up.

I know it’s not too far off! Plus all of our trim will be repainted a cleaner pure white. It’s hard to tell in photos but the trim color is old and turning very yellow. That alone might brighten things up!

I would leave it too. The stained banister that you have now, will hold up much longer than a painted one, and I really do not see anything in your pictures, that says, a black banister would look good. The only thing I see black, is that light fixture above the stairs, and quite honestly, that looks a bit out of place in your home.

I love a black painted staircase, but in this case and with your style home, I would leave it be.
