What is on the front of the tub? If its wood would water not damage it

    I'm using a wood panel there. No reason it should really get wet.

    I like to use wood fronts in Master Bathrooms for the tub because it looks more elegant than tile, balances the wood of the vanity, and breaks up the tile or stone. I don't usually use a wood front in a child's bathroom because they aren't as careful as adults when it comes to playing in the bath tub!
