"Premium Cabinet" brand opinions?

Looking out for mid-range cabinets, and I cannot find any information or opinions regarding this brand. Not sure where they are made, but curious how others feel they compare to Kraftmaid. The boast all-wood construction at a better price.

They have a "value" line that runs at $72 to $104. Not sure of the construction.

They have a "standard" line that runs at $107 to $174. The construction uses all 1/2" birch plywood, 3/4" maple fronts, dovetail, full extension, soft close. Their website seems very honest without much of hte sales BS. Not sure where they are made, but they claim they are firmly situated and killing lots of the big-box options at a much better price.

Asking because I'm about to make a trip to a cabinet store that sells this cabinets. They list the brands they carry with "higher quality being first:"

"DeWils"

"Bellmount"

"Legends"

"Premium Cabinets"

So looks like Premium is the "worst" of their line. The cabinet shop has 5 star reviews out of 20+ reviews. Lots of reviews talk about fantastic pricing and value compared to "big box stores" and other cabinet places with great quality.

Good to know. What do you recommend in the $200-250 linear square foot range? That's what I consider mid range.

Well, we just went to two additional cabinet stores today. Man, it's like buying a car. I hope cabinetry is the worst part of this whole process.

One place has access to Kraftmaid (I think) or other similar brands. We're having them do a quote. She was really good to work with and acted more like an interior designer.

The other place sells Premium Cabinets and other brands (the point of this thread). I personally thought "Premium Cabinets" are pretty bottom barrel. Even just the finish is not good.

DeWils seemed pretty nice. We didn't see a lot of colors that we liked however.

Belmont we liked as far as the finishes. However, they have more "upcharges". They have a plywood construction option (which isn't worth it, other than the sink). But I think I was told they changing the white interior with a tan melamine was an upcharge. Belmont doesn't sand their dovetails either. But so what on that one.

We were told Dewils is 11 weeks out, and Belmont is 9 weeks out.

Thoughts of Belmont? Comparible to Kraftmaid, etc?
