We are meeting with electrician tomorrow for our new build and I have been agonizing over whether to do 2 large or 3 not so large glass pendants. Right now I seem to be leaning towards 3. The island is 3' deep and our ceilings are vaulted so 15 feet high above island. I was thinking I needed a taller pendant to help fill the vertical space but I am drawn to glass globes. It's a beach house so I am trying to keep everything very "light" and I am using brushed nickel fixtures - no black. I have attached 2 choices. The globe pictured is 8" wide but I can find one that is 12". Any feedback?
