I'm not interested, but Dresden plate is one of my favorite blocks. I've only made one in a sampler, but I really enjoyed making it.

It is kind of frightening when I see all that I have accumulated, not only in sewing, craft supplies, but in general household goods. I actually sent two Christmas cookie trays off to grand daughters this past month. I won‘t ever use them again and they will . And I am filling boxes for the thrift store when it reopens. So I am with you, bkay. Clear out, clear out.

My next project is a baby quilt. In the past I put together 2 ABC quilts that were fun to construct and well received.

I do. I have several sets. They are 6.5". PM me with your address if you want me to send you one or two. I found them very difficult to use.

I was active on a swap group on groups.io, plus participated on several Quiltingboard swaps (they are not swapping anymore at QB, as no one has volunteered to host). The groups.io swap group does one or two ABC swaps per year. On the ABC swap, the groups.io usually ends up doing 2 different sets per swap. They generally do 10 different swaps per year, most are themed (animals, things that go, boys, etc), but do one or two no theme swaps each year. If you like making children's quilts, it's a great group.

I have so many I Spy squares that I quit swapping, although I love doing it. I walk into a fabric store and think, "oh, that would make a great 'Y" fabric. With the postal rates, the cost of fabric and not using them, I thought it was time to stop participating.

We're stuck at home because our county has completely screwed up the vaccinations and we may never get appointments. The state has stopped sending them vaccine and they are now under federal investigation.

Bummer....... I didn't get my vaccine until the end of January and first of February, but I'm glad I've finally gotten it. it seems as if as soon as I had an appointment at the medical school here, then the county, the city and the public hospital all said I was eligible for an appointment. We were encouraged to sign up as many places as we could, so I did.

Taught a class to my SAGA chapter last night on joining lace for an heirloom baby bonnet. Donated all the kits to reduce my stash. Now to restore my sewing room!

I'm making headway preparing pieces for hand appliqué. Now to settle on a pattern and size.
