Affordable Installed Blind companies

Hello,

I am in complete shock and in need of help. I live in an area with few options and landed at a local high end design shop for blinds. We have a home paint, decor, blind, wallpaper shop, but I was on my own to decide on what to look for with no experience so I went to the design shop. We built a new house and are in need of blinds on the majority of windows, mostly for privacy. The 26 blinds via Hunter Douglas (woven and honeycomb) totalled $20,000! I'm stunned, shocked, flattened. I would love to hear about other companies who offer blinds that don't break, will be installed and measured for us, and are either the honeycomb or woven. I would love advice from your experiences, please. I'd much rather put the money into furnishings since they will be up the majority of the time. Thank you SO much!

I have bought Levolor from Lowe’s for my last 3 homes (in three different cities). I have been very pleased with selection and expert installation. They also have 25% off sales several times a year, which, when you are doing an entire house, saves thousands of dollars.

Thank you! I appreciate any help I can get. Do you know if there might also be cheaper books of blinds at these places or if Hunter Douglas is a pretty average?

Hunter Douglas is very pricey. I have had the Hunter Douglas Vignette in my LR & DR for about 10 years. I have had good luck with them & when they needed repair last year the shop I bought them from handled the repair with Hunter Douglas but I have read horror stories on here about the poor service offered by Hunter Douglas. I would get prices from other companies. 26 is a lot of windows and the size will also drive up the price. Most of the companies I suggested will come do an estimate for free. At least they did before the pandemic

I've bought through Blinds.com several times. Probably averaged about $100 per window (they always have "sales.") Unless they are odd-shaped windows, it is easy to measure. Then perhaps hire someone via Nextdoor, etc to install.
