Archiduc Charles bounces back

After getting scorched in a heat wave, then getting a good mulching, a two-day soaking from the remnants of a cyclone and a cool change for the past few weeks, AC is looking good again! We also had big bushfires before the rains, and the garden was coated with ashes. I do wonder if that has helped everything look so lush.

And Mr T is looking gorgeous.

Adam, wonderful photos. These Teas are so resilient! I don't have one eaten by a gopher yet thankfully. It may be because they are not planted by my South fence, but I am not sure. Maybe gophers prefer certain varieties or root types. Are there gophers in Australia?

No gophers thankfully 😅

Possums like to eat roses and rose foliage, but I haven’t seen or heard of any around our neighbourhood.

So beautiful! One must certainly admire the resilience of the Chinas and Teas.

Thank you for sharing; I cannot grow such beauties here and love living vicariously through others' gardens.
