My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Stairs and Landing...

can you tell me the dimensions of the landing? Is it 3 feet with 11 inch steps?

    Hi Beth!
    The top landing is 4' deep and the rise of the steps are 8". I like working with 6" or 8" steps as they are most comfortable for foot travel. It also helps that the concrete masonry units are sized perfectly for 8" steps so it makes it more efficient to build. 11" would be out of code where I am.
