Hello friends!

I am moving into a new apartment soon and would like your input on how to set up my new bedroom. The room has been designed so that at some point in the future it could be divided into two small bedrooms, each with their own entrance. Now the bedroom is a single long space with one central entrance. I'm having trouble making the bedroom layout look balanced and I can't figure out the correct place for the bed.

The bedroom is 170 sq ft / 16 m2 with dimensions of 9' 1/2" x 18' 10 1/2" or 276 x 575 cm. Room height is 8' 5 5/8" or 258 cm. Below you can see the floor plan. The measurements are in metric, but I have also mapped the apartment out on Floorplanner, where I changed the measurements to imperial. What I'm looking for: This is going to be a home for a single, almost middle aged guy. Basically I'm just looking for a functional, nice looking place to sleep and get dressed. A queen sized bed would probably be best for a bedroom of this size, but I wouldn't mind a king size, and also can live with a double. I don't have a huge need for extra storage.

What are your opinions? I'm really excited to hear any ideas or suggestions that you might have!
