watermelon peperomia stem and leaf damage concerns

I got this watermelon peperomia from a little plant shop around me yesterday I noticed the one stem had a little kink and some damage where that kink was so I assumed that that mark was from being kept in a box or near something that pinched it off like that however looking closer add it today I'm noticing more nicks and chunks missing in the stems and marks on the leaves that could be either just damage because the leaves are so tender and tend to scar like that or could be from insect activity. Could someone take a look at these pictures and give me their expert opinion? Thanks so much It's currently in quarantine.
