My son used to have that same rug in his bedroom! To answer your question, yes, the dining table and chairs in terms of color match the walls; in terms of style, I would suggest something more contemporary.

My first initial thought for this space was if this is the only location for the dining table? It looks like you're losing out on additional seating have the table backed up against the window. Typically, dining tables should have at least one-and-a-half feet all around for easy access and maneuvering. Also, it leaves the rest of the space to be underutilized.

Thanks for the answer Magi. I know that is a playroom rug for my kids playroom but we have moved in this house few days back and are still setting up space that’s why the mismatch.
