Entry Home Decorating Design Dilemma

Help! We bought this house a few years ago and have been renovating slowly. This entryway is one of the last spots that’s desperate for some love. Considering changing the railings and banisters to metal and wood. Can anyone recommend a change in design, art etc... for the 13 foot wall going up the stairs? We are not married to the orange color either. I replaced the light with the black one in photograph and included a shot of adjacent wall which is the front door. Thank you!

I think a trio of large prints going up the stairs would look great. I would paint first and then decide what it needs. :)

The orange is very powerful. I would consider painting it the same color as the lower part of the foyer to had lightness and symmetry.

I agree that the orange is a little overpowering. I would lighten up the color, remove objects from the wall ( too small in my opinion), and then reevaluate your railing. I would NOT add any metal.

Oh I like the framed door idea. Yours is beautiful! I know that stuff is way to small. I’ve contemplated art there... going up the stair wall? A gallery wall in that one area?
