Personally, I'd leave it and watch it develop if this is the first time it's happened just so you have the experience.

If it isn't, then as Dyanna said, cut or leave as you prefer.

Please Don't cut the seed pod. Let it grow as it is. If you don't need the seeds you can give them away. If you were from India I would had happily taken the seeds from you. 😃 So just like me there would be many people who would like to have those seeds. Socks, you need more than one so you can practice root pruning, hand pollination, grafting, etc.

Yaay! Did you secure them by tying or bagging? They split open VERY fast and POOF, they’re gone!

Look for a very slight color change in the pod shell. Once it begins to go a little tan, it’s ready. The change is very subtle. You can cut them off and secure indoors on an open surface. They will open on their own.

I’ve had a hard time giving away even blooming adeniums here. I don’t know why exactly. I’m curious to see if some pop up in unexpected places.

I surprised myself and collected some. i surprised myself even more by finding someone who wants to try to grow them.
