The desk and shelves are custom millwork and fabricated from poplar with a high gloss latex paint coating. The desk has an inset glass top.

Hi Christine: The design of this space was customized for our client and the room itself. If you are looking to recreate the elements in this room, especially the millwork, you could use this image as your inspiration and work with a carpenter / furniture make to recreate the concept of the desk and shelves in your space. The sofa, credenza and file cabinet were all from CB2 and the area carpet is a Kilim from the 50's. I hope this gives you enough information to get your started.
