We have a 54" barn door and want to cover a 60" space and use it as a pocket door.

First, does anyone have any ideas on how we can extend the barn door to make it work?

And second, since its a heavy door - any advice on which hardware to use to make it a slider (will be placed inside a small cavity between two walls).
