@Joy M The vanity sits against a wall on the right side, so we either would have to have 2 lights over each mirror or it would have to be one bigger sconce in between the two mirrors.

I also prefer option B. I can't tell though if perhaps the mirrors might be too wide? Hard to tell with the renderings but if size wise works I think it's very nice.

I like option B, if you have other storage space why not get flat mirrors instead of cabinet

Random thoughts:

- You have a good-sized vanity here, but your drawer space is limited, and you're going to care about that. I'd go with a single sink and a good-sized bank of drawers /uninterrupted by pumbing for each spouse on the two sides.

- I'd go with one large mirror instead of the two smalls. One large mirror makes the room look larger, and it gives you a better view of yourself. It's also a "neater" look with fewer lines.

- The drop pendants in Option B will be closer to your eye level, which will give you lighting "in the right place". But you need two more pendants on the far sides too. Personally, I like pendants that descend from the ceiling better than pendants that protrude from the wall.

The mirror size looks great! I also prefer option B

Our vanity is 62” wide. Before we updated we placed masking tape on the previous mirror to get a “feel” for various individual ones. We decided a one-piece was a better solution. This one has beveled edges and is glued onto the wall. Individual lights are above both basins.

Thanks for all the advice - I think we prefer Option B as well. @fnmroberts Really appreciate you sharing pictures of your own bathroom for us to get a sink. We would love to have one mirror and agree it would probably look better - we have mostly been thinking about the medicine cabinets because of the additional storage in an NYC apartment where every inch counts. @Mrs Pete We would be open to a hanging pendant instead but with this vanity one side will be up against a wall so don't think we will have room unless it is only in the middle.

I think if you slide the mirrors a bit toward the middle, and leave room in the middle, you could do sconces on either side of the mirror and a sconce in the middle. Look for a sconce that has thin vertical lighting. I've never like lighting over a mirror. We look much better with side lighting from both sides. Are these mirrors medicine cabinets? If they are then plan carefully for the opening of the doors to the medicine cab. I will take a picture tomorrow and show you what we did. We may have a bit more room than you but I think it would work for you.

Above isn’t a modern look but is functional. Depending on your sink placement, may have a mirror directly over each one.

I totally understand designing for small spaces. Someone may make a 60” triple but haven’t located.

I think lighting above the mirrors will be less shadowy when you do makeup. I had the same setup and did 2 recessed medicine cabinets with lighting above.

If you had one large mirror on the wall would 3 narrow sconces fit. You can have the mirror cut to fit the sconces

@Riverrat1 looks very nice. What size are your mirrors/sinks?

@jatinahuja, Medicine cabinets are 21” wide x 34” height. I also have a smaller one on the side of vanity (picture) that is 17” wide x 27 height.
