Has anyone ‘hacked’ their Ikea Expedit Bookcase? I have a large black Expedit bookcase. We moved to a new house, and have almost completed a full basement reno. Once done, the family room - open area - will have rustic wood features. Our TV media unit is wood. I’d hate to throw out the bookcases, because they work well storing my books. Has anyone applied finished wood to the outside of an Expedit bookcase? Any recommendations? Thanks!!!
