My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Removing load bearing walls

Hi all,


We’re planning a renovation that involves removing some load bearing walls to create an open plan lounge dining kitchen space. The draftsman has advised we’re going to need some supporting beams and columns which I’m struggling to visualise.


Would love to see how others have done this and still maintained a nice aesthetic!
